Hi, I am Kristy!

I’m a proud mum to two amazing boys, Dallas and Hendrix. They are my everything—my greatest adventure. My biggest goal is for them to look back on their childhood and think, That was the best childhood ever—filled with love, adventure, and unforgettable memories.

I’ve been married to Simon for 15 years. He’s the king of puns, always thinks he’s hilarious, and somehow manages to support all my wild ideas and dreams.

When I was 8 years old, I declared I wanted to be a photographer, and today, I’m proof that childhood dreams can come true. With over 20 years in the photography industry and 13 years running my own business, I wake up every day grateful to do what I love.

I am a summer soul and full-time mermaid. The ocean is where my heart feels at home—salty skin, sea breeze in my hair, and the sound of waves are pure magic to me. I’m happiest at sunrise or sunset, soaking in the beauty of the world. I also love the moon, reading, traveling, pasta, champagne, and live music. There’s nothing like the energy of a good gig!

Travel is a huge part of my life. My bucket list is pages long, and I’m determined to experience as much of the world’s beauty as I can—and share it with my boys. We’re planning an epic adventure, chasing our dream of a simple, adventurous life.

I’ve experienced great loss—losing my sister, dad, and mum within five years. Their absence has profoundly changed me, but it’s also made me value life’s little moments. I’ve learned not to wait for “someday” and to embrace every opportunity to create memories. Don’t wait to be skinnier, richer, or braver—live your life now. And most importantly: take the photos!

Fun facts? I’m geographically challenged, so please don’t ask me for directions. And although I’ve tried to conquer my fear of heights by skydiving and bungee jumping, let’s just say it hasn’t worked.
